 Cheryl
estimates she has given over 3,500 private
lessons as a professional golf instructor in the
last 17 years. Having been in the golf
business for over 22 years, Cheryl developed her
expertise on the links as a competitor.
Relocating to the South Carolina Grand Strand 10
years ago, Cheryl has been a Head Golf
Professional, conducted numerous golf schools
and group clinics for golfers of all levels, and
most recently was Director of Instruction for a
golf academy in North Myrtle Beach.
Cheryl first developed her professional skills
in Ohio, where she is from originally.
During her travels and competitions, she made
the cut in 2 of 3 LPGA National Championships,
and 3 LPGA Section Championships. She also
played in the U.S. Women's Open Qualifier,
only to miss playing in the US Open by 10
strokes.
 As
a golf instructor, Cheryl meets some very
interesting and notable people of all abilities.
Some have been special needs students, supreme
court judges, generals, NFL Football Players,
college players, college basketball coaches,
authors and visitors from countries all over the
world.
Cheryl Brankel's love for teaching the game of
golf, makes taking a lesson not only productive,
but fun as well. One of Cheryl's goals is
to help each student individually. She
knows that one golf swing doesn’t fit all, we
are not all built alike. Her relaxed style
and keen eye sets her students at ease so they
can easily understand and focus on THEIR goals
during a lesson.
