New G-2 bentgrass green, irrigation system, and bunkers were put into place making Wildwood Green a beautiful golfing experience. Wildwood Green also features a fully equipped clubhouse, snack bar, and golf shop with top of the line golf equipment. The Cheryl Brankel Golf Academy is now open at Carolina National. Cheryl became the first woman PGA Professional to be Certified in Instruction on the Grand Strand. In 2006 she was 1 of 64 out of the 28,000 PGA Professionals to attain such status. Cheryl has also been nominated for the Carolinas PGA Section Teacher of the Year Award for 2008. The golf academy has a 14,000 square foot putting and chipping green to hone your short game skills and a 320 yard driving range with its own tee box for working on your full swing.
